Wesley Lunkley proactively advocates for his clients to ensure that they have legal solutions available to make the best decisions for their family and future during the most challenging times. He understands that each client has unique concerns and does not believe in using a cookie-cutter approach to address his clients' goals. Family law matters often cross multiple legal disciplines, and Mr. Lunkley's range of federal and state civil litigation experience gives him the flexibility to address other legal issues that can overlap in family law cases.

He believes in having honest yet compassionate discussions about the complexities of a case so that his clients have a realistic idea of what to expect. While Mr. Lunkley prefers to settle family law matters through negotiation or mediation, he is ready to aggressively fight for his client's rights in the courtroom, whether before a judge or a jury. He learned power in negotiations and when they stop being productive from his twelve years proudly serving in the United States Coast Guard, participating in numerous search & rescue and counter-narcotics missions.

Following the military, Mr. Lunkley continued his government service upholding laws under the U.S. Constitution and the State of Texas as Assistant Attorney General at The Office of the Attorney General of Texas-Law Enforcement Defense Division. Here, he successfully represented state officials and law enforcement officers in state and federal courts. He also practiced administrative law at the Texas Department of Banking, where he pursued enforcement actions on behalf of the State of Texas.

Mr. Lunkley earned his legal degree from The University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law. While in law school, he participated in the immigration clinic, providing pro bono services to the indigent and victims of violent crimes and earned the California Witkin Award for Immigration Law and Policy. He also interned with the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General's Office at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, where he assisted with preparing cases for criminal prosecution.

Mr. Lunkley continues to serve his community by using his free time to volunteer as a coach and a commissioner for the Leander Youth Baseball and Softball Alliance.
